The idea of streaming media directly fling to our TV by using Chromecast is really a good idea but it is horribly fond of the Google platform restrictions or content. But now we have another alternative for this which gives high competition to Google’s Chromecast because Mozilla has secretly working with a partner on the working of a project that is powered by Firefox OS.

The device is hack-friendly with an open bootloader.  Mozilla till now is not naming the manufacturer but hopefully the gadget is in market very soon. May be it has a simple casting from Windows Phone, Firefox OS and other platforms too which don’t have various TV sharing options.
